Feedburner Feed Refreshing Problem
If you are loosing your blog’s feed reader this might be one of the reason why. I was recently kind of hesitated to use feedburner feed service. Because once I started to using their feed, my feed was showing some weird problem. Normally I use Google Reader to read my rss/xml feeds but as you know you can read a feed directly from many web browsers like Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.
The default WordPress feed was working fine for me but it’s the feedburner feed that was showing this problem. Once i click on the feedburner feed icon it starts reloading or refreshing the page instead of showing the content (The video footage is posted below). It’s like there is no ending for this reloading era. So, i contacted the feedburner forum for support. But they could not fix the problem.

As i said in their forum that the problem has to be related to feedburner and guess what it is associated with feedburner. I will explain here step by step how to solve this problem:
- Login to your feedburner account.
- Click on your feed title which will bring you to the dashboard of your feed.
- Click on the tab called “Optimize“, it will open a side navigation bar.
- Look for “BrowserFriendly” button on the left side. Click on it and activate it by clicking activate button at the bottom.
- All done.
It was that simple. By default this option is deactivated. So, if you are a new feedburner service receiver, make sure this option is enabled for your feed. Otherwise visitors like me who uses web browser to view blog feed once in a while might go away from your blog.
BTY: I am using latest version of WP v2.2 with up to date web browsers.
