Google Referral 2.0 is still a new advertising program(PPA ads) that is only open to United States advertisers. As far as i know publishers from US, Canada, UK and Australia with good Google Adsense reputation were invited to use this new feature of Adsense.

I started to use Google Referral ads only 1 month ago and i already realize that PPA (Pay Per Action) is much better than PPC (Pay Per Click) ads. Everyone knows the conversion rate is relatively low on affiliate programs, Google Referral Ads are not different from that point of view. You will be lucky to get a single conversion per day even though you will get quite few clicks everyday.

• Pick The Highest Payout Ads:

The way i decided to use my Google referral ads was to pick the highest amount of payout ad that is relative to my content of the website or blog. This way it is obvious that even if you can get 2 or 3 conversion per week you will earn enough money. Some Google referral ad will give you $0.20-$0.30 USD per action where some will give you $117.03 USD per action.

• Write an Article About the Product or Service:

Another way to make money from affiliate ad like Google Referral ad is to write a post about it and insert the Google referral ad code inside the article. I prefer not to put any other ad on this type of post just to grab readers attention on the specific ad. I made a post on such a service and i made $234 USD in a single day.

• Drive Traffic on Product or Service Promoting Page (Google recently changed this policy, therefore it’s against Google Adsense TOS):

If you want to sky rock your conversion for Google referral ads or any other affiliate programs, you need to drive good amount of traffic on your landing page (in this case your Google Referral product or service promoting post or article). Buying traffic from search engines will always give a good result(ROI) for this type of conversion.

At the end we all should remember few things about Google referral ads:

• Your chosen ad might not show up all the time or on every page you would like it to show up.

• Google Referral ads will NOT be shown in all geographical location. It completely depends on Advertisers choice.
