MistyLook WP Theme & Search Engines Cache
I noticed the problem when I was checking how search engines are caching my new blog? It looks like all search engines indexed pages only show my header image. But if i actually look at the page source code (html), i can see that search engines are caching them properly but it’s not showing any text because of a frame (BTY i do not use any frame in any of my website). So, i gave a Google search and also went to the MisyLook theme’s coder or designer Sadish Bala’s website. I was surprise only one person talked about this issue in his forum before.
MistyLook WordPress Theme And Search Engines Cache Error
But i was more surprise when the author finally did not solve the problem. I decided to use MistyLook WP theme because it is quite neat and clean and has most of the features that i was looking for. But if the theme causes error in search engines cache, i will have to remove it. Before i take this decision i would like to solve this overflow (thats the reason behind caching problem) problem by myself because as you can see i did major modification on this template already.
I would not care about this problem as long as search engines indexed pages have all my content but it becomes a big problem when anyone try to use online translation like Google Languages Tools or Babelfish (Altavista) translation. These sites use the similar browsing system that a search crawler would use. They first cache the page and then translate it. So, if you are using this WordPress theme you are losing many potential foreign language clients or customers. It also came to my notice that many large and busy websites are using this template too. For their case they may not be aware of this issue yet or they are ignoring it because their search engines indexed pages are fine.

Hi !
Have you been able to find a solution ?
Thanks !
Benjamin.
Actually i did, sort of. If you notice my recent search engine cache, they are showing properly. BUT, Firefox and Opera users will still see some irregular appearance. I will fix that soon too(there is a shortcut fix; just make your sidebar length longer).
Change your style sheet class #content
overflow: visible;
Thanks ! It’s (almost) OK now !
See you,
Benjamin.
No problem, Kartben. I made a post with all the necessary fixes for this problem.
