Facebook is claimed by another new Harvard student name Aaron J. Greenspan. The news has spread very quickly since Mr. Greenspan was able to show some e-mail proof of his ownership for today’s one of the top social networking website, facebook.com.

Facebook has already been sued by ConnectU and demanded to shut down the network or handover the ownership of the website. But according to Mr. Greenspan, he is the real person behind the idea of facebook.

Greenspan started his social networking website called houseSYSTEM(FaceNet) almost 6 months before facebook launched. The website was aimed to collaborate Harvard students to participate in college related group work.

According to New York Times, Greenspan showed the proof of the e-mail that had been sent to Harvard students on Sept. 19, 2003 regarding the news of launching houseSYSTEM.

After the launching announcement of houseSYSTEM, Mr. Greenspan and current facebook CEO Mark E. Zuckerberg initiated a conversation of combining their ideas but later Zuckerberg canceled the idea.

Greenspan neither created a lawsuit against Facebook nor even mad at the fact that Zuckerberg used his idea and become a billionaire today. Mr. Greenspan explained all the stories in his 306 page unpublished autobiography titled “Authoritas: One Student’s Harvard Admissions” how he created facebook similar script houseSYSTEM and how others copied his idea and created ConnectU and Facebook.

This is not the first time when student from Harvard University was accused of stealing idea and become billionaire overnight. Harvard dropout Bill Gates and his friend Paul G. Allen copied a version of the BASIC programming language which was designed by two Dartmouth college professors and created one of the top listed company in the world Microsoft.
